Yoga for Tweens
Join other 8-12 year olds at Yoga Central in an empowering TWEEN Yogaclass. The class will focus on a variety of yoga postures, meditation techniques and like minded bonding creating healthier body images, self love, physical fitness, balanced moods and a mind/body connection. Come play with us starting this fall.

Yoga for Seniors
At Yoga Central we recognize the our bodies change as we age. This just means we approach our yoga practice from a wiser perspective. Honouring our bodies, this practice will focus on using the breath with movement. Come, enjoy and surround yourself with the wisdom. You will find a kind and relaxed approach to yoga.
The following classes are open to all ages but will provide a much gentler approach. Suitable for seniors:
- Monday Gentle Yoga @1:15pm
- Tuesday Hatha Yoga @10am
- Wednesday Hatha Yoga @10am
- Wednesday Beginner Yoga 7:45pm
- Thursday Gentle Yoga @ 10am
- Thursday Restorative Yoga @1:15pm
- Saturday Hatha Yoga @9am
- Sunday Restorative Yoga @1:30pm
Physical activity is the key to good health during pregnancy. It is recommended that a healthy pregnant women should engage in moderate exercise to help reduce the risk of complications during pregnancy. The beauty of yoga is that it helps the practitioner to feel at home. The more we visit this home, the more we feel connected and grounded. Pregnancy is a time of change and growth. Using our yoga practice while pregnant is a wonderful way to go inside and notice these changes. When we learn to trust our inner knowing, we start to follow these truths. Vera uses Yoga Nidra and Yoga Tune Up Balls to make this class an extra special experience.
Mom and baby yoga is a class for Moms and their babies 6 weeks old to crawling age. Special attention will be placed on stretching, toning and developing core strength and stability. Particular attention will be made to abdominal and pelvic health and restoration. No prior yoga experience is necessary however if Moms have practiced yoga before you will find this class is a great way to transition back to your pre-pregnancy practice.
